Imogene T. "Jean" Boehme

Imogene (Jean) Boehme, 91 of Akron (Kenmore), Ohio passed away May 14, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Pyle; and her sisters, Freda Simmons and Ruby Gfeller. She leaves behind to cherish her; her husband of 67 years, Albert; her daughter, Susan Lewis; her granddaughter, Noelle Lewis; her sisters, Mildred Bichsel and Maxine Vargo; and many nieces and nephews.
Jean was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and neighbor. She was always doing for others. She worked as the church secretary at Boulevard Evangelical United Brethren Church and also worked 30 years at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in the Production Planning Department. Jean was a member of the Firestone Park United Methodist Church.
Special thank you to the Home Hospice Nurses and to Akron City Hospital.
Graveside committal service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park's Ivy Chapel. Pastor Randy May officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Firestone Park United Methodist Church, 250 N. Firestone Blvd. Akron, Ohio 44301. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
