Ima Gene Boyd

Ima Gene Boyd, 90, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday September 23, 2014.
Ima was born August 27, 1924 to Chesley E. and Della Mae (Bradley) Guthery in Cullman, Alabama and had been an Akron Resident since 1951. Ima was a member of Brown Street Church of Christ. She loved studying her family genealogy including her father's 15 siblings and her 105 first cousins.
In addition to her parents, Ima was preceded in death by her husband Luther in 1986, her siblings and her grandson Benjamin Emerson Probert. She is survived by her children Angela (Robert) Johnson, Barbara Boyd, Alan Dale (Patricia Boyd, Edna Kay Probert and Donna (Russ) Barnhart; grandchildren Robert Johnson, Jr., Kara Ledford, Neal Johnson, Cory Barnhart, Amber Barnhart, Hannah Hunt and Kayla Kindig; 8 great grandchildren.
