Hurland Lorenzo Parker

Hurland Lorenzo Parker, Jr., 53, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

He was born in Akron and was a graduate of the University of Akron with a business degree. Hurland was the manager of the Jednota Club in Akron. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Jednota Club. He enjoyed fishing and was a Charter Captain.

Hurland was preceded in death by his nephew, Spencer Parker. He is survived by his parents, Hurland Lorenzo and Grace (Mincica) Parker, Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Dawn Parker; brother, Kenneth Parker; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and sons, Brandyn K. Parker and Hurland L. Parker, III.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Green where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private for the family.
