Hunter Matthew Morey

Hunter Morey 32, joined his brother Colin in heaven on May 9, 2016.
Hunter was a kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor who could make anyone laugh. His treasured daughter McKenna was the center of his life and his greatest joy.
Hunter was a savior to 5 NE Ohio people who were the recipients of his organs through the Lifebanc Organ Donation Program.
He is survived by his precious daughter McKenna Morey; parents Frank Morey and Kim Samuels; sister Kara Morey; grandparents Donald and Sharon Alvarez and Albert Morey and Joan Fankhauser; Uncle Rob Morey; girlfriend Tina; best friends Nate Koby and Shawn Secrest.
Hunter was preceded in death by his beloved brother Colin Morey; his grandmother Grace Alvarez and a host of other family and friends.
Calling hours Fri, May 13, 11:00am-2:00pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, 44301. Service to follow immediately at 2:00pm officiated by Pastor Larry Saltis. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Food will be provided at Hope United Methodist Church, 2650 Cory Ave., Akron 44314 directly following interment. Memorials can be made to the Hunter Morey Memorial Fund at First Merit Bank.
