Huldah M. Hogsed, 89 passed away December 24, 2017. She was born in Nebo, West Virginia and was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. Huldah had also worked for the Hoover Company, W.G. Rogers and O'Neil's throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lida (Tanner) Dawson; husband, Norris J.; son, David; grandson, Randy; sisters, Halsie Tanner and Oma Richardson; and brothers, Orville and Nelson Dawson. She is survived by daughter, Janet Thrasher, sons, Jim (Wanda) and Dale (Terri); daughter-in-law, Sandy Hogsed; brothers, Dennis, Alfred and Ray Dawson; sister, Wavelene Boggs; grandchildren, Holly, Lynn, Rosie, Danielle, Ronny, Louise, Julie, Keri, Jessica, Sarah, Judith, Robbie and 7 additional grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Sean, Katarina, James, Hunter, Randall, Ronny, Jr., Shayann, Sarah, Jenna, David, Nicholas, Shawn, Savanna, Zack, Dave, Caitlin, Gaven, Jadyn, Kc, Ashlee, Cara Ryan, Mason, Crimson and 14 additional great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren, Aubreilla, Carson, Catalaya, Cameron and Jayden. Funeral service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
