Helen Streharsky, 89, of Ravenna, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2020. She was born on December 14, 1930 in Akron, OH to Joseph and Maria ( Brindza ) Stefanka. She is survived by her daughter Theresa Norman and son Martin Streharsky Jr.; grandchildren Traci (David) Teeple and Mandi (Kipp) Yoak; great grandchildren Kourtni, Joseph, Brody, and Kylie; and brother Joseph Stefanka. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Martin; her parents; sisters Mary Wright, Josephine Larrison, and Irene Streharsky; brother Frank Stefanka; and son in law Jack Norman. Helen's lifelong passions included caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, cooking, baking and ceramics. She also treasured her Slovak heritage.
