Helen Nelson

Helen Nelson, 93, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
She was born in Akron and was a long time member of Allenside Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Nelson was a retired Elementary School Teacher working for Copley and most recently, Coventry Schools. Family was the most important thing to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Dale; her parents; and three siblings. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Jill) and David (Kathie) Nelson; sister, Eleanor Alexis; grandchildren, Steve (Chris) Nelson, Kim (Jeff) Sheeler, Erika (Terry) Wagner and Chuck (Krista) Nelson; great-granddaughters, Hailey and Madison Wagner and Karter Nelson; and great-grandsons, Ben and Sam Nelson and Conner Wagner.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pastor Pete Macaulay officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
