Helen Marie Lemley, 98, of Akron, passed away on May 10, 2020. She is survived by her brother, Carl Heinl; 8 nieces and nephews, and she was a great aunt and great great aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; her parents, Alphonse and Helen (Rahrig) Heinl; and 7 siblings. Helen was a long-time member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tallmadge. She was also a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Helen enjoyed attending church and spending time with her friends, neighbors, and family. She enjoyed collecting dolls, playing cards, and dancing. Her love of her apartment and the care she received while living at Cardinal Retirement Village, allowed her to make new friends, enjoy her outdoor porch and daily activities. She was a lady of deep faith who lived life simply, and to the fullest. Helen was an extraordinary women, sister, and aunt in life and legacy, and she set many good examples for her nieces and nephews to follow. She cherished her family and loved hosting parties and visiting with family during family functions. Due to the current health situation, all services are private. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
