Helen J. Hogg, 87, beloved mother, sister, and aunt, was called to her eternal resting place on November 24, 2024. She entered into this world on October 29, 1937 in Weeksbury, Kentucky to the late Green and and Ethel (Duff) Howard.

Helen was a member of the Young Democrats from 1960-65 and was invited to Pres. Lyndon Johnson's inaugural ball. She also met Senator John Glenn. Helen loved her game shows and was an avid fan of the Cavaliers, Guardians and Browns.

Mom and her four siblings grew up in various coal camps (coal mining companies owned towns) in Nicholas County (Summersville or Beckley area) and other counties in West Virginia. She came to the Cleveland (Lakewood) area in 1950's and moved to Indiana in the late 70's and to Kentucky from 1979-83, then back to Cleveland area. In 2003 she retired from the Ferro Corp. where she worked in Accounts Payable.

Preceded in death by her parents, she was also preceded in death her sister, Glenna Farrar, brothers, Charles and Virgil Howard, and her pet Kitty, Socks.

She is survived by loving son, Jonathan Hogg; sister, Lucille Peters; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Pastor Steve Jenkins will officiate at a memorial service on Saturday, November 30, at 6:00 PM at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. Stow).
