Helen Marie Hartmann

Helen M. Hartmann, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 after a long illness.

Helen was born in Akron to the late Ernest and Anne Hartmann and was a lifelong area resident. She earned her Masters degree in Shakespeare and worked as a real estate appraiser for many years. Helen enjoyed playing in the St. Nicholas Balalaika Orchestra. She took in her nephew, Norman, after the death of her sister in 2008. She was a beloved friend and aunt and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sister Joan Hartmann. She is survived by her nephew Norman Hartmann; best friend Patty Boyle; cousins and friends.
