Hazel Dell Faasse

November 20, 1923 — December 23, 2014

Hazel Dell Faasse, 91, passed away on December 23, in Barberton.
Born in Slidell, LA on November 20, 1923 to the late Joshua & Minnie Sikes, Hazel had been a Barberton resident for over 60 years. She was a member of the Former Barberton Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband William; son William R., and 4 siblings. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Lois & Jim Chapman of Seville and Linda & George White of Copley; daughter-in-law Luella Faasse; grandchildren Julie (Tom) McMillan, Jan (Randal) Buffenbarger, Jo Ellen (Matthew) Lynch, and Brian (Morgan), Jamie, and Keith Faasse, as well as 16 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend all of their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone at Pleasant View Health Care Center for the excellent care given to Hazel.
Per Hazel's wishes, cremation has taken place and her cremains will be interred at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. A memorial service will take place at a later date. If one wishes, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105, or by visiting www.stjude.org.
