Harry James Cosgrove Jr, 70, died February 9th, 2025 at Akron, Oh In Summa Care. Harry was born in St. Thomas hospital at Akron, Ohio where he currently lived and resided most of his life. He was educated at Garfield Heights High School and also completed business classes at The Ohio State University. At the age of 22, he was the youngest IHOP of 400 franchisers in the USA and Canada. He worked as a finance manager for many years at multiple local auto dealerships and continued to work in his retirement at Ajax Quality Cleaners. He was always known for his fierce work ethic and devotion to his loving family. He loved watching cartoons with his grandchildren and cooking for his family. Harry always enjoyed going to the casino with his loving wife, Debbie who survives him.
In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his son, Michael, his daughters, Samantha and Anna, his grandchildren, Gwenyth, Tessa, Theodore and Konrad, sister, Patrica and brother, John. He is predeceased by father, Harry, mother, Helen, brother, Tom, and son, Matthew.
A viewing will be held at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home 811 Grant St. Akron, Ohio on Friday, February 14th from 4-7:30 with a memorial service at 7:30. Harry loved Valentines Day and the family felt it was a perfect date to celebrate his life.
