Gregory James Kyriakedes

Gregory James Kyriakedes, 63, passed away on April 8 from renal failure complications. He was born in Athens, Greece on June 2, 1951, to the late James and Evaglia Kyriakedes.
Greg immigrated to the Akron area as an infant and then his family moved to Tallmadge where he graduated from high school in 1969. In his youth Greg was actively involved in the Boy Scouts, high school choir, and drama club. Throughout his life he also enjoyed fishing and dancing.. After attending The University of Akron, Greg worked as a bank teller in Twinsburg. He then moved to the Cincinnati area in 1983 and took the position as a Hamilton County Court Clerk.
Greg is survived by his devoted partner of 30 years, John Ferguson; sister, Nina (Saki) Eliopoulos; brother, Chris(Diane) Kyriakedes; nieces, Julie(Tim)Tsirambidis, Sarah Kyriakedes, Alexis Kyriakedes; nephews, Tim(Danielle) Eliopoulos, Jamie(Jessalyn) Kyriakedes; aunt, Irma Lerakis; cousins, Anna(Yianni) Gomarakis, Janette(Dimitri) Fortseras, Eleni Lerakis; 6 great-nieces and nephews; and many beloved family members.
Greg dearly loved God and his family and was most proud of the fact that he read and studied the Bible from cover to cover. Bye for now, dear Greg, until we reunite again.
A private family service has been held.
