Gina Ann (Colao) Antognoli

Gina Antognoli, 94, passed away on December 11, 2022.
Gina was born in Naples, Italy on October 8, 1928 and came to the US in 1946. She was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls and Parishioner of St. Joseph Parish. She worked as a teacher's aide for 24 years for the Cuyahoga Falls Public Schools. Gina loved her Italian heritage and was a member of the Carivollese Club of Akron. She enjoyed spending time with her Italian girlfriends, playing Bocce, and listening to Pavarotti. Gina loved to sing and entertain, shop, but most of all she loved her family.
Gina was preceded in death by her husband Andrew; brothers Ralph & Raymond and sister Rita. She is survived by her children John (Denise), David (Ann), Andrew (Elizabeth), and Rosanna Lugenbeal, along with 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, & 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Emilio Colao, along with many nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 16, 11:30 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyhaoga Falls. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
