Gilbert A. Corvin

Gilbert 'Gil' Corvin, 97 passed away on July 4, 2022.
Gil was born in Bethlehem, PA on February 15, 1925 to the late Raymond and Esther Corvin and was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. Gil worked for many years as a custodian for the University of Akron. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
In addition to his parents, Gil was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor; Brother David Zikefosse and sister Gloria Klepper. He is survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 9, 11 am, at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
