Geraldine M. Wells

Geraldine M. Wells, 87, passed away on September 5, 2014.
Born in Akron, OH on September 18, 1926 to the late John & Thelma Bigler, Geraldine was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls before moving to Brimfield in 1977. She had been an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tallmadge. Geraldine loved being outside and was an avid gardener. Most of all Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2006; daughter Cathy Alfaro and grandson Christopher Alfaro. She is survived by her daughter and sons-in-law Sherry & Wade Ringler and Bobbi & Roy Beck; grandchildren Adam (Sarah) & Michael (Tiffany) Ringler and Brandon & Kelsey Beck; great-grandchildren Jackson, Madison, & Jaxon.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 12:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater East Ohio Area 70 W. Streetsboro St., Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236 or by visiting alz.org.
