George M. Horchler, 74, of Akron passed away on October 11, 2020. Born in Meyersdale, Penn. to the late John L. and Edra J. Wilson, he had been an area resident for most of his life. A member of the U.A.W. he was retired from Goodyear Aerospace. During the Vietnam Era, he served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. His survivors include sons, Aaron B., John W., and Josh E.; sisters, Montie Horchler-Fultz, Janetta Horchler-York, and Alice Horchler-Arnold. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Horchler. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service and inurnment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
