Obituary

George Mackfee "Mack" Epling, Sr., 91, of Stow passed away on Dec. 27th. Born in Spenser, WV was the son of the late Theodore and Grace Epling. George, known to all as "Mack" was a veteran of the U.S. Army Ranger Special Forces and served during the Korean Conflict.

After the death of his first wife, Alice, he married Katherine who also preceded him in death. His daughters, Sue Derr; brother, John Epling; sister, Jessie Smith, grandchildren, Jerry Gay, Mark Ball and Tonia Hashman also preceded him in death.

He is survived by children, Terri (John) Vernoy, Karen(Ron) Ball, Ken (Judy) Epling, Bill Epling, Grace (John) Coley, Mike (Tina) Epling, George (Debbie) Epling, Jr.; sister, Rita Allen; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
