George Robert Dugan

George Robert Dugan, 87, passed away on January 19th 2024.
Born on January 13, 1937, in Akron Ohio to the late Susan Kathleen and George E. Dugan. George (Bob) was a graduate of Garfield High School and a 1961 graduate from the University of Akron. Married to his lifelong love, Tari-Ann (Kerr) for over 54 years, Bob and Tari-Ann have lived in Cuyahoga Falls for over 51 years. He began his career with Firestone for a short time and then worked for 30 years coordinating textile manufacturing operations at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Bob enjoyed being a member and President of the Cuyahoga Falls Campers Club and traveling across the country seeing numerous National Parks and Monuments. Bob enjoyed traveling to Florida for over 25 years with Tari avoiding the winters in Northeast Ohio. He was a lifelong Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers fan as well huge Ohio State and Army Football fan.
He is survived by his wife, Tari-Ann of Cuyahoga Falls, his brothers Thomas Frederick (Linda) Dugan of Canal Fulton and Stephen Charles (Dagmar) Dugan of Avilla, Indiana; his children Brian (Kimberly) Dugan of Middletown, Connecticut and Jennifer Genovese of Austin, Texas; and grandchildren, Emily and Caleb Genovese and Bryce and Brock Dugan.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, from 5-7 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave in Cuyahoga Falls (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 24, 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls.
