Genevie "Genny" Kathleen Kincaid

Genevie Kathleen Kincaid, 86, passed away on May 3, 2026.
Genny was born to the late William & Rosa Kincaid in Akron on December 20, 1939 and was a 1958 graduate of Garfield High School.
She was a member of the Chapel in Akron. Genny worked for Burch Directory, Goodrich, the Chapel, Arlington Memorial Baptist, & Walmart.
In addition to her parents, Genny was preceded in death by ger sister Mary Lou Godbey; brothers Victor & W. Loyd. She is survived by her sisters Corena Alcorn & Jean Harris; special nephew David (Jennifer) Alcorn, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, from 11 am to 1 pm, followed immediately by a funeral service at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
