Gary Wayne Reece, Sr, 72, passed away on October 18, 2022.
Gary was born in Richmond, VA on August 24, 1950 to the late Victor and Leotha Reece. Gary found life and fulfillment after retirement as a tradesman in family, friends, and the local classic car scene.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son David; brothers Samuel, Ken, & Ronald and sisters Janet & Carol. He is survived by his children Gary (Tracy) Reece, Jr., Tammi Reece, & Heather Welling; wife Joyce; grandchildren Ashton, Jacob, Jonah, Connor, Henry, & Katie; great-grandson Ezekiel and brother Donald.
A Celebration of Gary's Life will take place on Saturday, October 29, at 2 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends from 12 pm until the time of the service.
