Gail Sue (Rutledge) Smith

Gail Smith, 64, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at her home.
Gail was born June 20, 1957 to Thomas and Linda (McDermitt) Rutledge in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her mother Linda, grandsons Kyle and Jackson and siblings Thomas and Brenda Rutledge. She is survived by her children Ronald Smith, Eric (Megan) Smith, and Amanda (William) Duncan; father Thomas (Sharon) Rutledge; grandchildren Alex Smith, Ellie, Emma, Eva and Evan, Brittney (Alesha) Duncan, Nick Coup, Matthew Duncan and Savanah Duncan; siblings Cindy (Denny) Hicks, Thomas Rutledge (deceased), Brenda Rutledge (deceased), Steven (Jennifer) Rutledge; sister-in-law Jodi (Tom) Orihel; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park.
