Gail Marie Orr

Gail Marie Milne Orr, 71, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Gail was born in Akron, grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, attending St Joe's Elementary School Cuyahoga Falls High School. For many years she was the Parish Secretary for St. John the Baptist and Visitation of Mary Catholic Church, where she was currently a member. Gail loved to quilt, shop, go to casinos, and especially loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard "Moe''; and infant son, Richard. She is survived by her children, Megan (Troy) Aiken and Matthew (Deanna) Orr; grandchildren; Andrew, Benjamin and Nicholas Aiken, Katlyn and Emma Kapper and Madeline and Christopher Orr; as well as siblings, many nieces, nephews and friends; and much appreciated, special caregivers, Freda "Vera" Dickinson and Kristin Hanna.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at Visitation of Mary Catholic Church in Akron. Private Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron. 330-724-1281. anthonyfh.com)
