Frederick 'Freddy' W. Miller, IV, 45, beloved father, son, partner, & brother, passed away July 3, 2023.
Fred was born in Akron on January 23, 1978 during the Great Blizzard to Fred & Yvonne Miller. He was a 1996 graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School and graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Akron. He was employed by First Energy in the cyber security division. Fred was a lifetime member of St. Francis de Sales Parish where he also attended grade school. Fred loved boating and skiing on the Portage Lakes and snow skiing especially with his Miller cousins. He was an excellent DIYer, had very good mechanical skills, and was always willing to help repair broken equipment for family and friends. He loved cycling and rode many miles for charity. He loved being with family and friends, entertaining everyone with childhood stories of him and his brother and their cousins. He just loved making sure everyone around him was having the best time to the extreme of always carrying confetti in his pockets to start a party and making special photographic t-shirts for special birthday or graduation celebrants. Most of all Fred was a devoted and loving father to his son Kenny and partner Jodie.
Freddy was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph & Rebecca Peck and Frederick II & Laura Miller; uncle Steve Miller and cousin Justin Miller. He is survived by his beloved son Kenneth Frederick Miller and partner Jodie Ricks; parents Yvonne & Fred Miller; brother Chris Miller, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, members of the Ricks family, and other friends.
