Frank Edward Thomas

Frank 'Franko' Thomas, 56, passed away suddenly on November 28, 2015. Born in Akron on March 9, 1959 to the late Francis & Ruth Thomas, Frank had been a area resident for most of his life. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Frank was employed by Jeter Systems Inc. for 18 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3410 and the Wolf Ledges Athletic Club. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Mary Lou; daughter Maura (Nate) Simonik; he was the very proud grandpa of Damien & Hailey Simonik; sisters Lisa (Donald) Ladany & Laura (Tom) Furman; nieces Lindsey & Nakita Ladany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Brown St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.(Anthony Funeral Homes, 330.724.1281, anthonyfh.com)
