Florence Emily Nutter, 94, was called home by her heavenly Father on March 27,2023.

Florence was born July 13, 1928 in Akron, OH to William and Anna Stanger. She married the love of her life, Charles O. Nutter and subsequently moved to Stow, OH to raise her family.

She will be missed by daughters, Joyce Ruther and Jackie Nutter; sons, Jim (Michael) Nutter, and Joe (Tracy) Nutter; grandchildren, Brian (Madison) Ruther, Brianna Nutter, and Savannah Nutter; sister, Lucille Wells; and many treasured nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, "Chuck"; infant son, John; son-in-law, Scott Ruther; sisters, Mildred VanNewkirk, Doris Schultz; and brother, William Stanger, Jr.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Danbury Woods Cuyahoga Falls for the loving and compassionate care they extended to our mother over the past 10 years. They treated her as one of their own and we will forever hold them in our hearts.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church (3179 Kent Rd., Stow) on Monday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Stow Cemetery.

May the choir of angels and loved ones welcome her into eternal rest.
