Fern E. Archer passed away August 19, 2015 in Lewisburg, North Carolina. She was born October 15, 1920 in Greensburg, Ohio to Hiram and Zella Miller. Fern lived in Akron most of her life until moving to Lewisburg, North Carolina in 2005.

Fern was married to Harold P. Archer and they enjoyed many years at their cottage on Kelly's Island, Ohio.

Fern was employed at Uniwear, Piece Goods Shop in South Plaza and Montgomery Ward and Dillard stores at Rolling Acres Mall.

Fern was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold, brother Jason, and daughter, Sandra Lee Hunsicker.

She is survived by her daughter Carla and son in law Rick Manly of Lewisburg, North Carolina and son in law Rick Hunsicker.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday November 14, 2015 at Cornerstone Free Methodist Church, 578 Killian Road, Akron, Ohio, 44319. Reverend Brenda Mason Young will officiate.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial Donations may be made in Fern's name to the Cornerstone Free Methodist Church.
