Eva Louise Stimler, 96, passed away October 8, 2025. Eva was born on August 3, 1929 to the late Michael and Eva Mae Korom. She graduated from Kenmore High School in 1947. On October 15, 1949, she married Bob who predeceased her in 2005 after nearly 54 years together. Eva was a church organist for over 50 years, played for hundreds of weddings and funerals, and even played for Mass multiple times a week while living at the Village of St. Edward in Green. She enjoyed crafting and sewing. If you are lucky, you have an afghan she crocheted, a Christmas ornament she cross stitched, or an apron she sewed and monogrammed just for you. But above all, music was truly the center of her life -- both singing and playing the piano and organ.
Eva is survived by her children Daniel, Barbara (Paul) Brooks, Steve (Kim), Pattie (Dominic) Rizzo, Laura (Jim) Foti, and Connie (Bob) Pacanovsky; 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Music; brother Richard (Doris) Korom; sister Ruth (Cliff) Davis; brothers-in-law Fred (Kitty) Stimler and Bill (Alfreda) Stimler. She was the last of her generation.
