Eva Nuspl, 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
Eva was born in Hungary on November 4, 1930 to the late Martin & Barbara Riesbeck, and arrived to the Akron area in 1950 after surviving in Europe during World War II. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish and a former member of the German American Club. She was known for baking homemade pastries and spent many days in her garden where she gathered homegrown vegetables. She loved to sew and crochet handmade blankets.
In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband Wendelin and son Bernhard. She is survived by her son Steven (Patricia); Daughter Barbara; grandchildren Aaron (Tina), Adam (Elizabeth), Sara (Keith) Simpson, Tera (Rusty) Duncan, Hallie (Durwin), Christopher, Arielle; great grandchildren Lee, Abagale, Aubrey, Addison, Kylie, Rylan, Jackson, Ellie Grace, and Aiyana. She will also be missed by her companion, Max the cat.
The family will receive friends from 11AM - 1PM on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, with a funeral service to be held at 1PM, Deacon John Amedeo officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
