Eugene Vanvoorhis

CANTON - Eugene H. Van Voorhis Jr., 76, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at his home.
Eugene was born February 26, 1943 in Salem Ohio and had been an area resident his entire life.  He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He was in the produce business and worked for Frank's Produce for many years; after working for his family business, Gene's Produce.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Nora (Witten) Van Voorhis and his brother James Patrick.  He is survived by his niece Christal (Angelo) Fortunato of Green,  and his sister-in-law Janice (Richard) Bortz.
