Ethel Morris, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 after a brief illness.
Ethel was born, second youngest of 13 children, January 21, 1925 to Frank and Margaret (Stromk) Selesky in Vestaburg, Pa. She came to work in the rubber shops during World War II, met her husband and was married in 1947. She was active in the local Democratic Party and was an early supporter of the Don Plusquellic campaign.
Ethel loved her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and going out to eat as well.
Ethel is survived by her husband of 66 years, Albert O. Morris; sons, Albert J. (Annie), Jim (Ann), and William (Debbie) Morris; and grandchildren, Jim (fianceé Tiffany), Brian (Courtney) and Brittany Morris.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron. A Memory service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Please bring a memory to share.
