Ernest (Ernie) Albert Stupak

Ernest "Ernie" Albert Stupak, 99, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, entering his eternal home. Born in Yorkville, Ohio, on December 30, 1925, he was the beloved son of the late Michael and Mary Stupak.
Ernie proudly served his country during the Korean War. After his military service, he worked for the AC&Y Railroad and later for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. A man of many interests and talents, Ernie also taught ballroom dancing in his early years. He and his beloved wife, Mary, shared many joyful moments dancing together at various events. He also enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary; his daughters, Carolyn (Rob) Conley of Akron, Ohio, and Marlene (Jim) Goist of Little Elm, Texas; five grandchildren: Bob (Sarah) Conley of Akron, Jeremy (John) Utley of Aubrey, Texas, Jessica Stegeman of Sanger, Texas, and Ashley Goist of Nashville, Tennessee; and two great-grandchildren, Emma and Olivia Stegeman of Sanger, Texas. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Ernie was preceded in death by his grandson, Kevin Conley.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, at West Hill Baptist Church, North Revere Road, Akron, OH 44333. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Ernie's memory to West Hill Baptist Church, the Ohio Division of Wildlife, or an animal shelter or rescue of your choice.
