Obituary

Emily Rose Kisela, 19 of Sylvania, passed away early Saturday morning due to a tragic automobile accident. Beautiful, athletic, charismatic, independent, intelligent, passionate, loving, loyal, resourceful, selfless, and feisty – these are a few of many words used to describe Emily. Her warm spirit, amongst her infectious ability to make others laugh, were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Emily was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, until she reached the age of 8. While in Cuyahoga Falls, she attended elementary school at Immaculate Heart of Mary. She then lived in Dublin, Ohio, between the ages of 8 and 16, where she spent her time focusing on her education, playing as a tenacious mid-fielder in the Ohio Premiere soccer league, and spending time with her best friends. Emily not only leaves behind a circle of best friends, but also a sisterhood. Incredibly dedicated to building life-long, deeply rooted relationships, Emily's family included more than those related to her by blood. She remained incredibly devoted to putting all others before herself. While in Dublin, she attended Scottish Corners Elementary School, Karrer Middle School, and Dublin Jerome High School. Both in middle school and high school, Emily regularly made Honor Roll. In Sylvania, she graduated from Southview High School, and continued to work toward her future. Emily valued her time spent with friends and family. Her hobbies included bowling, dining out, going to the movies, and spending time with her loving boyfriend, JJ, as well as dear best friends, Kelly, and identical twin sister, Chloe. She was always in search for her next adventure. She had the will, and she found the way! Emily is survived by her mother and father, Stephanie and David Kisela of Sylvania; Chloe of Sylvania, and older sister, Kelsey of Los Angeles, CA; grandfather, Neil O'Donnell of Stow, OH; Godparents Cheryl Freeman and Christopher O'Donnell; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandmother Jean O'Donnell, grandmother Agnes Kisela, grandfather Joseph G. Kisela, and great aunt Margaret O'Donnell.
