Elizabeth "Betty" Orr, 96, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, Nov. 16.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, on May 20, 1919, the daughter of late Jean & Alexander Aitken, she was proceeded in death husband, Joseph; sons, Bill, Ray, Moe, Orr (Al), and daughter, Geraldine Black.
Her survivors include children, Sue (Tom) Kaser, Alice Orr, Patrick Orr, Gail Orr, Mary Anne Hayes, Katie (Keith) Robinson, Betty Jo (Roger) Houpt, Jody ( Valerie) Orr, Christine (Carl) Carter, Ruby Orr. She also leaves 30 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Graveside service will be on Saturday at 11 :00 a.m. at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent, procession will form at the funeral home at 10:00.
