Elizabeth Mary Marcius

Elizabeth Mary Marcius (Yenchik), 90 passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017. Born on March 18, 1927 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of John Yenchik and Anna Princz Yenchik. Elizabeth was a long-time member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She looked forward to reading the newspaper and taking part in daily Mass on EWTN.  Elizabeth continued to correspond with friends and family in her beautiful and distinctive penmanship. She was clever in her own writing, especially in creating rhymes and poems. Her family was always the most important thing to her. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas J. Marcius; brothers, George P. and Charles S. Yenchik; and father of her children, Joseph J. Marcius. She is survived by her children, Elaine, Joanne and Joseph G. Marcius; sister, Rosemary Mazanek; brother, John S. Yenchik; and nieces and nephews.  Elizabeth had a very joyful and loving relationship with her "precious angel" granddaughter, Chelsia Rose Marcius.  Funeral service prayers will begin Friday, 9:30 a.m. at Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
