Elizabeth Louise Ellis

July 17, 1926 — June 18, 2015

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Elizabeth "Louise" Ellis, loving wife and mother, passed away June 18, 2015 at 88 years of age.
Louise was born July 17, 1926 in Lima, Ohio and was married to Clyde "Ed" Ellis for the past 39 years. Louise loved caring for others. She worked as an R.N. at Akron Children's Hospital in the burn ward and in surgical recovery for nearly 30 years. She was an active member of her church, Grace Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. Among her many hobbies were square dancing, gardening and playing the piano. The family wishes to thank the many nurses and STNAs at Maison Aine and Crossroads for their loving care and support of Louise and the family.
Louise is survived by four sons, Jim (Mary), Kirk (Marian), Mark (Joan) and Mike (Jeanette). In addition, she has 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Lee and their children.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. Pastor Bob Stephens officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
