Elizabeth M. (Betty) Curt nee Armocida, 79 passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was born in Akron and was a member of Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church. She retired from Sears after 25 years of service. Elizabeth loved cooking for her family, trying out new recipes and was most happy when her family was all together. She enjoyed the holidays and the "Hi-Z" class at church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Victoria (Del Monte) Armocida; and 3 brothers, John, Joe and Rudy Armocida. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Curt, Sr.; children, Richard Curt, Jr., Terrie (Christopher) Pfeil and David (Stephanie) Curt; grandchildren, Zachary, Mackenzie (Dani) and Jackie Pfeil and Angela Curt; sisters-in-law, Virginia, Shaaron and Lois Armocida; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Rev. Sam Martin officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. (Anthony, Akron)
