Elinore Ann Craven Henninger, after a brief illness, passed away January 11 surrounded by family and love. She was, with her husband of 61 years, Francis, a parishioner of Queen of Heaven Parish. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she earned a B.A. at St. John's University and took further coursework at the University of Notre Dame. After raising her children, she served as a Defense Department contract manager. Ellie's strongest effort was to create, enjoy, and leave behind her a family, all of whose members love one another. That work she achieved. Preceded in death by her son Joseph (1960), she is survived by her sisters Catherine Streibel and Christina Laws, by five children and their spouses, whom she also loved as her own: Mary, Louis, Thomas, Francis, Laura, James, Mary, Katherine, and Justin, as well as by 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, January 14, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off Steese Rd). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 15 at 10:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd. Uniontown OH 44685. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
