Elaine Marie (Brauser) Hudak

Elaine Marie Hudak (Brauser), 88, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 of cancer at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.

She was born in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Garfield High School. She was an exceptional seamstress and doll maker, loved to cook and enjoyed family gatherings. She was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bodo and Matilda Brauser, her husband of 60 years, Richard Hudak, and her son Todd Hudak. She is survived by her daughter Kim (Brian) Gedrich; sons Kevin and Mark (Carol) Hudak; siblings Barbara (John) Little and Richard (Lana) Brauser; grandchildren Chelsea (Josh) McCarty, Brandon (Kathy) Gedrich, Victoria (Ian) Wally and Brandi Hudak; great grandchildren Ethan and Kate McCarty, Autumn Gedrich, and Anastasia Wally; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located at 2101 17th St. SW in Akron, Ohio where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the church.
