Eileen Ann (Koch) Smith

Eileen A. Smith, 90, passed away at home on August 25, 2022.
Eileen was born in Middleport, NY on March 5, 1932. Eileen raised her family in Wadsworth, retired to Murrell's Inlet, SC in 1987, and recently moved to the Akron area. She attended LifeSpring Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband William B. Smith in February 25, 2015; grandson Tanner J. House; brother Emmett Koch and brother-in-law Walter Trude. She is survived by her children Pastor Randy (Ann) Smith, Judy (Archie) Griffith, and Mary Ann (John) McInnes; grandchildren Mark (Rosie) Smith, Dr. Emily (Joel) Smith-Goering, Justin (Mandy) House, Connor (Karisa) McInnes; granddaughter-in-law Claire House; great-grandchildren Delmy Alberto, Kaylee and Tanner House Jr., & Benjamin and Eliza Smith; sister Jean Trude.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jackie & Tianna from Crossroads Hospice and Diana, Kim, Ashley, & Kathy from Traditions Hospice.
A private memorial service will take place and Eileen will be laid to rest along side her husband William at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in their memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Crossroads Hospice, or Traditions Hospice. (Anthony, AKRON)
