Edna Beatrice "Bee" Mclean

Beatrice 'Bee' McLean, 104, passed away January 3, 2019 at Maplewood Care Center in Cuyahoga Falls.
Born in Ravenna on May 20, 1914 to the late John & Sarah Starkey, Bee lived in Cuyahoga Falls for the last 102 years. She was a longtime member of the Church in the Falls. Bee was a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a proud member of the Junior Progressive Study Club, of which she was the last member. She was an avid hiker and member of the Senior Strollers. She enjoyed participating in the Quirk Travel Club.
In addition to her parents, Bee was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 2003; sister Peg Hutchinson; sons-in-law Bob Durbin & Bob Schray. She is survived by her children Barbara Schray, Janet (Richard) Allis, Clifford (Gabriele) McLean, & Gail Durbin; grandchildren Todd (Alexandria) Schray, Grant (Stefanie) Schray, Patrick (Andrea) Allis, Sheryl (John) Young, Brent (Lauren) McLean, & Jennifer (Christopher) Westfall, as well as nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Church in the Falls 837 Chestnut Blvd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Church in the Falls.
