Ed Blackwell

Clarence Edward Blackwell, 67, of Brooksville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on September 21st 2021.

He was born on May 31st 1954 in Akron, Ohio. To the late William C. Blackwell and Willa D. Blackwell.

Ed was known for so many things. A talented craftsman, he could build anything and fix anything. No matter the problem, he always had a solution. A funny man always making others laugh. He lived life glass half full. Most of all he was known for his giving and loving character and a heart for Christ.

Ed is survived by Wife, Patricia L. Zinke, Daughters Lauren Blackwell, Ara Jorgenson(Cameron Stewart), Dahra Zinke (Justin Wagner), Demi Zinke (Jacob Wagner), Grandchildren, Taryn Reid, Kieran McLarty(Tayler McLarty), Alaina Jorgenson, Nolan Jorgenson, Avalea Jorgenson , Kodarae Wagner , Blakely Wagner , Great granddaughters Sophia Reid And Milah Kutch. Sisters Olivia Post, Shirley Slivka, Bernice (Jim) Orlando, Linda (Richard) Stokes, Kathy (Glenn) Wagner, Helen (Tim) Hunt, Sandra Blackwell and many more family and friends.

The family has entrusted Anthony Funeral Homes with the arrangements. A Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. with calling hours from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at 1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301.
