Earl G. Hendricks, 85, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Marietta, Ohio and was a resident of Green for 64 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict and retired from Republic Steel after 45 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion of Greensburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Esther; brothers, Victor and Glen; and sister, Carolyn Hendricks. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Rose; was a loving father to daughters, Debra (Edward) Apsega, Brenda (John) Angelo and Rhonda (Jeff) Stabler; was adored by his grandchildren, Brandy and Mark Apsega and Megan Angelo; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Tonio, Eddie, Francisco and Charles; and also survived by his sisters, Wilma Miller and Rachel Hendricks.
Funeral service will be held Friday, 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. Uniontown, Ohio 44685. Entombment Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Marietta, Ohio. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
