Dorothy M. Hawkins,95, passed away on Sept. 15. Born in Winchester, VA, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Rose McCauley, she had lived most of her life in the Akron area. Dorothy retired from Reiter Dairy and had been quite active in the Reiter Retirees Club. She was a long-time member of Summit Wesleyan Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and her daughter-in-law, Robin Hawkins, she is survived by daughter, Sherry (Richard) Davis; and son, John Hawkins; grandchildren, Megan (Anthony) Modica, Michael (Heidi) Davis, Steven (Carol) Davis, Rick (Kristi) Davis, John (Lynette) Glockner and T.J.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91) and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Summit Wesleyan Church (2302 S. Main St., Akron 44319) where Rev. Dan Conkey will officiate at funeral services at 11:00.

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
