Dorothy L. Barney, 86 of Akron, passed away on May 27, 2026.
She is survived by her two children Tracey (John) Ross and David (Christine) Barney and grandchildren Daniel Gilbert, CJ Ross, Andrew Barney and Abigail Barney.
Dorothy's favorite things included her cat Ash, blueberry pancakes, and the candy Good and Plenty.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the youth ministry at Community Church of Portage Lakes. 3260 Cormany Road, Akron, OH 44319
