Doris M. Barg

Doris Marie Barg (nee Guessford) passed away February 9, 2015. She was 85.
A lifelong resident of the Akron-Barberton area, Doris spent 32 years working her way up the ladder at Ohio Bell Telephone and then AT&T. Aside from traveling with her beloved husband and knitting, she had two passions: Mahjong and cards-and she was expert at both.
Preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Frances; Doris is survived by her husband of 64 years, John "Jack" Barg; three nieces in Minnesota; and countless friends.
Friends may call on Friday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. A Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
