Donna Marie (Del Greco) Lacasella

Donna LaCasella, 86, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2023.
Donna was born on September 27, 1936. She attended St. Sebastian Catholic School and later attended Buchtel High School. Donna worked as an accountant at her father Frank DelGreco's hardware store. It was here that she met the love of her life, Michael. They married in 1957. Six years later, they adopted son John and 3 years later, daughter Deanna.
Donna was always very active. She was a member of various Italian clubs and served on the Italian Council. When Michael had a stroke, she went back to work at Fashion Bug on State Road. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, going on vacations and taking trips to Amish country.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Michael and her daughter Deanna.
She is survived by her son, John LaCasella, grandchildren Jason (Rachel), and Elise (Tyler); great-grandchildren Lila and T.J.; sister Virginia (Mike) DelGreco, and Edna DelGreco, as well as many nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11 at 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. Entombment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
