Donald Lawrence Boss

Don Boss, 86, went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2018 after a brief illness.
Born in Akron on February 4, 1932 to the late Lawrence & Emma Boss, Don was a 1950 graduate of Buchtel High School.  Don worked as an electrical motor repairman, retiring from Magnetek as shop foreman in 1996.  Don was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Travel Club & the Falls Senior Strollers.  In addition to traveling, Don enjoyed working in his wood shop.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister Alice Samarigan.  He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Susan; his children Larry (Susan), Roger (Pam), & Jim (Lucy) Boss and Dawn (Jeff) Tallent; grandchildren Knox, Libby, Matt (Naomi), Nathan (Kristen), Jacob, & William Boss, Jenn (John) Moulton,  and Emily Tallent; great-grandchildren Zoey, Sophie, Ben, Brooklyn, Caeleigh, Kendrick, & Brendan.
A Celebration of Don's Life will be Saturday, November 3rd, 12pm, at the United Presbyterian Church 2819 Hudson Dr, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.  A private inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial in Don's memory to the United Presbyterian Church or to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron  141 W State St, Akron, OH 44302.
