Dolores Eve Schneeberger

An Angel on Earth Dolores passed away peacefully on May 10, with her daughters by her side. Born December 24, 1933 in Akron, OH, she attended Atwater High School where she met the love of her life, Walter. They were married 63 years and had four girls. Mom was one of the best country cooks. She often made the most wonderful chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies for her family and friends. Her pot roast was second to none. She loved her family and even though she had a stroke at 37, she still had the most wonderful, loving soul. She loved to dance, sing, and laugh. Everyone that met her loved her. Dad was our strength, mom was our heart and soul. Mom was preceded in death by her husband Walter, father Howard, mother Sarah, sister Jane, brothers CJ, Dan, Duke, and son-in-law Jim Johnson. She is survived and will be missed by her daughters Betty (Richard) Huff, Linda Johnson, Toni (Rick) Rodgers, Karla (John) Hall; grandchildren Shonna, Kristy, Becky, Jimmy, Mark, Jason, Julian, and Jackson, as well as 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brothers Walt and Bob; sister Alice. She was loved and respected by many other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends TODAY, 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, 10:30 am, where the family will again receive friends for one half hour prior to the service. Rev. David Haydu officiating.
