Diann Brown

Diann Brown, 63, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2017.
Born on June 27, 1953 to the late Homer & Charlotte Freeman, Diann was a lifetime area resident. She is reunited with the love of her life for 40 years, Danny Brown. Diann enjoyed gardening, looking for rocks, garage sales, and spending time with her family and best friends Sharon, Becky, & Sally. She also loved being with her faithful companion Jazzy.
In addition to her parents and husband, Diann was preceded in death by her sister Roxanna Bain and her brother Kenny Freeman. She is survived by her children Charlotte (Mark) Odom, Dianna (Billy) Nichols, Danni Brown, Almon Bert Ames III, & Don Brown; grandchildren Austin (Toni), Charles (Staci), Cody (Tessa), Michael, Emily, Madalynn, Myranda, as well as 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Paul (Gail) and Jimmie (Tamara) Freeman.
A Celebration of Diann's Life will take place on Wednesday, 6 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at Summa Health System 525 E. Market St, Floor 3E Akron, OH 44304.
